i love this shit. claudio simonetti was a member of Goblin, the Italo prog rock band famously sampled by Justice a few years back.
This second track below I got into through the first Horse Meat Disco compilation on strut. Really great bridge from disco into house music. Perfectly produced, it just builds so damn well. This track was made with the dancefloor and the DJ in mind. Perfect for a loooooong mix.

ReplyDeleteNice one O! Like that first track- classic. Came across that K.I.D track on beat electric- so good. Actually started making a track sampling that long percussion intro- such beautiful uninterupted drums. Some killer shit in that HMD mix especially from about 11 mins in- slower boogie synth mayhem into house drums...YEAAAAAAH!
