Most of you will probably know this mix, I bang on about it a fair bit. Anyhow, I feel like it needs to be posted as it's helped me through some interesting times. Maybe someone hasn't heard it.

It's still one of the best deep minimal tech house mixes I've come across - might even be a disco song or two in there as well. Super smooth mixes and hypnotic tunes.

Sweet memories...

This mix brings back sweet memories of highschool - backpacks, MD players, big headphones, hip hop and the rest. I reckon I listened to this mix almost every day for a year straight. Props to Dave for the much played minidisc back then.

Completely forgot about it till a chance encounter with it at randoms Golden Plains campsite last year. Been trying to track it down since then.

Promo mix released by The Avalanches in 2000 to combat the bootlegs of their unfinished album (Since I Left You) that were circulating around.

Check out the tracklist (in the comments) to see how many classics they drop, that are still dropped - stool pigeon, love will bring us together, i got my mind made up.

On a 2ManyDJ's tip ten years early, quick mixes, unlikely classic tracks dropped in and out, recurring samples and basslines, the constant 'saturday' refrain, 'girls just wanna have fun' and the smiths, all mashed together.

Click on the MD for the mix.

This track makes me laugh, although I think she's singing about some serious shit.

There's more on this site. Pretty cool story too.
Album covers anyone?

The Greatest Ever DJ Mix?

Mark Seven - A Slow Blow Mix by piecetogethermusic

Straight up and down classic.
Oft said to be one of the greatest dj mixes.
Slowed down italo jams, deep disco all on the cosmic, balearic tip.
All beautifully mixed - dude can rip a live set like no other.
I've been hunting for a good quality downloadable version for a long time, if anyone can hook us up, I've got some other Mark 7 gems that I can upload.
