Aw man that last one instantly reminded me of this old fave:
I can't decide whether this is like a slick, grown up rendering of the other as a childhood dream, or the inverse, with Tori's post a kind of back-to-basics nostalgia in old age.
Froth hard on this track at the moment. It's so short and i could listen to it all day. From what I've found on Youtubes they don't have heaps of stuff. Some of the other tracks are cool synth baleric jams. But none come close to this song. Hopefully they will push out some tape of this stuff that they recorded 30 years ago... soon.
I heard an edit of this by San Soda, but the original has me jumping for da weekend.....
I've really been digging Stacy Kidd recently, Chicago house dude who has been doin it a long time, like all those dudes, not sure if he's a known known or an unknown known, it doesn't really mater, he's got a serious catalogue. Unfortunately this rip sounds like it was taken on a boat. He has youtube account with some kinda strange stuff on it, like him playing b ball and cars with scissor doors, made me laugh.
There's def a bit of cheese to this one but I like it.
This is one of the guys in my bands solo thing. Just came out as first release on Average Negative (New Berlin/Aus label) with a 12" and an art book. Been hanging out here with the guys who started the label. Nice guys and good ethos. Every release will be a collaboration between a musician and another type of artist. I think the next one is gonna be launched in a gallery with an installation.
Enjoyed this this morning over breakfast in Berlin. It's warm with a slight breeze, hopefully this gives you a little of that summer feeling in Melbourne :)
Freaky at times, but I'm into this gothic medieval eastern euro electro ^^
Gimme the lute^^
Really tried hard to find a track from this album, or even the album itself, but no luck. Roberto Musci & Giovanni Venosta - Urban & Tribal Potraits
The above is from another album they did - Water Messages on Desert Sand
