More Home Grown
This is by another Melbourne fella called Lewie Day, AKA Tornado Wallace. His stuff is buttery smooth, be it production or edits, check him out.
On a side note:
I heard about him via a RA podcast which is all about a local label called Haul Music, who are all about electronic music. The three guys who run the label are Melbourne based and have a heavy background in Techno and House. Apart from music they talk about the Melbourne club/party scene through the 90's and 00's, a pretty interesting listen. Google the podcast if you don't want to sign up to RA.
Evening Shadows (courtsey of Q-Baller)
Evening Shadows is a mix where a Jazz fusion track nestles comfortably with synth pop; the melodious electronic sounds of Japan circa 1979 to 1987.

Diggin' the scene with a ganster lean
Can't deny the beauty of the original, but this 1980 version is also a great slow-burner. Heard Andras Fox play it in a DJ set a few months ago, and chanced across a decent boot copy last night at a record fair. $15 well-spent.

Gacked As Bro
This would definitely have to be the most munted footage I've seen. Ridiculous footage from a club in UK circa '93. Thanks to My Friend Samuel for the link.

Scott Grooves Tape from 1993
I went home and started to go through my cassettes. I would always do this—I don't know why—but I would always make a cassette and put the date on it... And I found one for June 21st/June 23rd 1993, and it instantly took me back like Michael J. Fox in Back To The Future! Back in time instantly, you know? I was thinking, "What was going on with me in 1993?" I was getting ready to put out my first release on KMS, which I was excited about, because KMS was like the label in Detroit. I was only paying $1 or $1.10 for gas, Michael Jackson had just performed at the Super Bowl, and Jurassic Park was the big movie!
Double-sided mixtape recorded back in '93, re-released for a Resident Advisor podcast, from one of Detroit's finest and yet most forgotten.
This one comes highly recommended, great early 90's banging funky house, in the best possible way. Nice high quality recording as well.
Something for jules
Tony Toni Tone...terrible name. Raphael Saadiq's group from late 80's/early 90's, had a few hits, all on the ultra smooth cheddar tip.

House Music
I watched this last night. I'm sure there a few House doco's, but holly shit. Some of the dancing in this is far better than anything else I've seen. So raw and wild. Epic footage. I have it on computer.

Les Twins
Vache we should become twins, then we could dance like this.
They're part of this crew from YAK films, got a YouTubes and Vimeo channel. Check them out if you wanna lose a good few hours to amazingness. That Oakland crew who did that Dancin' in the Rain on the Corner clip is part of YAK too. There's something in that.
